How do I update Vector's software?

Please Note: Once you have purchased a subscription it may take up to 72 hours to for your Vector to receive the update.

For software upgrades to Vector, you will need either a monthly or yearly subscription. Once you are subscribed, Vector updates all by himself! When on Wi-Fi, Vector automatically checks for updates every hour and applies updates once per day between 1am and 5am. You can also go into the Vector Robot app on your smart device, click the gear icon at the top right to access Settings, then click "Updates". If an update is available, you will see an "Apply Update" button. Press the button to initiate the update. Vector will reboot to apply the update, and be ready to play again within just a few minutes.

You can check what version of software Vector is on by opening the Vector Robot app, then tapping the Settings icon on the top right, and clicking "Updates". For Members, the current version is 1.8. Nonmembers will be on v1.6.
